Many years ago I was living in Minneapolis Minnesota. I had a chance to work with the Lao Community Service Center. While there I was able to collect some awesome khene instrumental solos from various people. Thought I would share it with our Lao Music Community. Let me know how you guys like it.

Also,  just a quick reminder of Bird’s  concert in Los Angeles. It’s this weekend I’m very excited about this. More information at Birdinusa.com. Hop over there and check it out when you get a chance.

If you are a midi player one way to make it sound good is to run it through an electronic
keyboard.  If you are playing it from a computer you will need an MIDI USB cable
connecting from the computer to the keyboard. I would recommend using Cake Walk to play the midi.
You could control the playing from this software.
Also, Check out these Lao marlum midi files – they are fmarlum lovers. Great
way to learn how to play Lao marlum styles.
